An extraordinarily clear day. This photo was taken from the fire tower atop Mt. Beacon in the Hudson Valley, the New York City skyline is over 60 miles distant.
It was an incredibly clear day, but also incredibly windy. I had to take this photo at the base of the tower, while braced against the rocks in the lee of the summit. All the other photos weren't as clear, due to the wind pushing me all over the place.
